Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mesostrength, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Mesostrength is a strength training application for planning, tracking, and optimizing hypertrophy training using mesocycle periodization, available on the web and as apps for iOS and Android. The service includes workout logging, template creation, automatic volume adjustment, training analytics, and an AI coach that answers questions about your training and can propose changes to your program.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Mesostrength. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Each person may maintain only one account.

5. Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial upon first signup. The trial is granted once per email address and is non-renewable. Deleting your account and re-signing up does not grant a new trial.

The AI coach is not included in the free trial. It is available on paid plans only.

6. Purchases and Billing

Mesostrength offers subscription plans on monthly and annual terms. Web subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy and managed through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, reachable from your account settings. Subscriptions purchased inside the iOS or Android app are processed by Apple or Google, and are managed and cancelled through your subscription settings with that store. We cannot cancel or modify a store subscription on your behalf.

7. Refund Policy

Subscriptions purchased on the web through Lemon Squeezy are final and non-refundable. Mesostrength offers a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate the service before subscribing.

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are subject to Apple's and Google's own refund policies. Those decisions are theirs, and we cannot grant or override them.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you may have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

8. Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. Any change takes effect at your next renewal, and we will give you notice before it does. If you do not accept a new price, you can cancel before that renewal.

9. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features over time. If we discontinue the service or a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice and will not charge you for a renewal period we do not deliver.

10. License Grant

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Mesostrength for your personal training purposes.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the application
• Scraping, data mining, or automated extraction of content
• Interfering with the service's operation or other users' access
• Using the service for any unlawful purpose
• Using the AI coach for anything other than your own training
• Attempting to make the AI coach produce medical, drug, or other advice it is built not to give
• Requesting guidance on performance enhancing drugs, anabolic steroids, or other controlled or illegal substances, which the AI coach will decline
• Automated or bulk use of the AI coach

12. Intellectual Property

The Mesostrength name, logo, and application code are the property of Mesostrength. You retain full ownership of the training data you enter into the service.

13. Your Content

You keep ownership of everything you create in Mesostrength, including your training data, custom exercises, notes and any videos you attach. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and show that content back to you as part of operating the service. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent to our AI provider when you message the coach.

14. Not Medical Advice

Mesostrength provides training tools and volume recommendations, not medical or professional fitness advice. The information provided by the service is for educational and informational purposes only. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or modifying any exercise program. You use the service at your own risk.

This applies to the AI coach as well. It adjusts training. It does not diagnose and it does not name conditions.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

AI coach replies are generated by an AI model and may be wrong or incomplete. We do not guarantee their accuracy. You remain responsible for your own training decisions.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mesostrength shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service.

17. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

18. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this section removes or limits any mandatory right you have as a consumer under the law of your own country of residence, including the statutory withdrawal and refund rights referred to in Section 7.

19. AI Coach

Every change the AI coach makes to your data requires your explicit approval. The coach proposes a change, you see exactly what it would do, and nothing is written until you approve it. Approving a change is your decision and your responsibility.

We do not guarantee that coach replies are accurate or suitable for you, and the coach cannot see anything you have not logged. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent to our AI provider each time you message the coach, how long conversations are kept, and who can read them.

20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
